Our story
Casa JAMEX began with a love of tequila and a belief that Jamaica deserved a brand created with us in mind.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Akea and Angela Wallace, Casa JAMEX brings a distinctly Jamaican point of view to one of Mexico’s most celebrated spirits, while respecting the tradition, craft, and origin of tequila.
We’re currently in pre-production with our producer in Jalisco, developing our first bottling: a 100% blue Weber agave blanco made using traditional methods and created for Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
From Agave to Bottle
Our journey starts in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, where blue Weber agave is grown and harvested the traditional way. Each piña is selected for quality before it makes the journey from field to bottle, carrying the character of the land into every batch of Casa JAMEX.
